The third workshop for FAST TRACK YOUR BUSINESS SUCCESS – Effective Strategies
for Growth will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce.
This workshop will be facilitated by Scott Pellowski State Farm which will cover these two topics: 1) Insurance – Choices for Businesses and 2) Risk Management – Planning for What You Can and Can’t Control. These subjects are very important to any person who owns a business or thinking of starting a business.
Many business owners find themselves under or over insured or don’t think about contacting their insurance agent about a new business evaluation whenever new equipment is purchased or their business plan changes. Also, there are many unforeseen risks that play into the overall business success. From business liability insurance, general liability insurance, umbrella policies, work specific insurance, workmen’s compensation insurance, unemployment insurance, disability insurance, health insurance and the list goes on, it can get very overwhelming for any business owner. During these two sessions, Scott will explain all of the aspects relating to business insurance, why business insurance is important, what risk management is and how to make effective plans to make sure you are fully covered in case of a loss.
